چکیده

In industry and academia, researchers have given more and more attention to Cognitive Radio (CR). The key idea of CR is to make it possible for a wireless system to find the vacant spectrum and transfer data without interfering with licensed users (LUs). Then, OFDM is proposed as a candidate signaling technology for such applications. However, the sidelobe interference of subcarriers has become a problem. In this letter, a method for sidelobe suppressing in OFDM systems is proposed and investigated. The proposed method is based on sampling in optimal locations with optimal weights in Active Interference Cancellation (AIC). By means of this technique, the maximum interference of the target spectrum is minimized. The proposed method can be used to minimize the maximum interference to licensed users in OFDM-based cognitive radio systems. Additionally, this method can be combined with other algorithms, such as Cancellation Carriers (CCs) and Subcarrier Weighting (SW), to enhance their performance under the minimax criterion.

Optimal Power Distribution Control for Multicode MC-CDMA with Zero-Forcing Successive Interference Cancellation

Multicarrier CDMA (MC-CDMA) has become a promising candidate for future wireless multimedia communications for its robustness to frequency-selective fading and its flexibility in handling multiple data rates. Among different multirate access schemes, multicode MC-CDMA is attractive for its high performance, good flexibility in rate matching, and low complexity. However, its performance is limit...

Joint Tx/Rx MMSE Filtering for Single-Carrier MIMO Eigenmode Transmission Using Iterative Interference Cancellation

In this paper, we propose a new joint transmit and receive spatial/frequency-domain filtering for single-carrier (SC) multipleinput multiple-output (MIMO) eigenmode transmission using iterative interference cancellation (IC). Iterative IC is introduced to a previously proposed joint transmit and receive spatial/frequency-domain filtering based on minimum mean square error criterion (called join...

Adaptive narrowband interference rejection in DS-CDMA systems: a scheme of parallel interference cancellers

In the presence of narrowband interference (NBI), the performance of the direct-sequence code-division multiple access communication system can be improved by using various interference cancellation schemes. In this paper, a scheme of parallel interference cancellers (PICs), which includes a set of NBI cancellation filters and a set of multiple access interference (MAI) cancellation filters, is...

MIMO Link Scheduling for Interference Cancellation in Dense Wireless Networks

This paper addresses the problem of fair scheduling of MIMO links in dense wireless network deployments where MIMO interference cancellation is carried out to optimize network performance. We formulate and solve an optimal MIMO link scheduling problem, where the goal is to maximize aggregate throughput while meeting a specified fairness criterion. Evaluations in a modified version of ns-3 show ...
